I literally told the guy that the part was 5 dollars and you could seperate it with a guitar pick
He said it was too much work

I think i might have to replace my moto x pure/style (XT1715) usb port
it only charges when the cable is pushed foward so i have to prop it up in a roll of duct tape so it charges correctly
ill probably replace both the port and the battery when either of them becomes more fucky

took it apart, pinouts tested fine off the PS board
unfortunately couldn't pinpoint which Cap was causing the issue
so I ordered a new board for $25
hopefully it fixes it
