Pricing release for RPi4 in New Zealand
Spoiler, we getting fucked here
>tfw everything is an import
It's about USD$11 more than the American pricing
RIP
Would probably still buy one
Or ask for birthday
Depending if RetroPie can make use of the added system resources
yeah i wonder if it will be able to handle harder emulation now
like the 3d consoles
@PoliteSuka @Billy Yum Yum Two-By-Two GPU is still dogshit
rip
@PoliteSuka wow it's US$1.5 more expensive
you're really getting ripped off i agree
OA 720p barely sustains 45fps
Better than the ~30fps the Pi3+ did
But still garbage, especially versus shit like the Jetson Nano
people playing the _but it's $X more expensive than in America_ card is getting so repetitive
american prices are excluding VAT, GST, whatever you want to call it
@Goz3rr what fucking exchange rate is that
here's the european price, i'm hereby revoking your oceanian price complaining priviliges
Exchange rate is 3:2
that's not an exchange rate, that's removing GST from the price
@Droidbot that's the part that's holding me back right now
They want to continue with these """""open"""" GPUs but they're dogshit
What's the point of a performant CPU paired with a GPU so terrible I'm fairly sure 2011 Adrenos could outpace it
Better than the closed source MALI crap that they put in the orange pi that I have
If Nvidia drops Jetson Nano prices RPi4 will be in trouble
At $60 the Jetnano would be amazing competition
the $40 atomic pi is half decent
it has an Atom x5-Z8350, 2GB RAM and 16GB eMMC
but don't expect to be able to buy one in a few months
Should I run pfsense on atomic pi or get a cheap mikrotik
wouldn't you want two NICs for that
Yeah for firewall 2 nics and enough juice to push 2x 1gb nics is kind of must for home stuff
So V1000 udoo bolt stuff, pc-engines 2D2( or 3) , somw rarer NUCs
It depends on how high the speed is you get from your isp
Else you could do some magic with a layer2 switch and clever VLANing
And 1 nic
