I bought a copy of the DSM-V, the big book of the actual diagnostic criteria for mental illnesses, because things like that are interesting, and I figured doing the whole first-year-med-student-diagnoses-themself-with-everything thing would be amusing. I checked the page for autism, and it got a little too real. I check basically every box.

Have you ever noticed that people with developmental disabilities always have the weirdest names?

Like, they had the names before they were diagnosed. There has to be a connection. I've never seen an autistic John, Matthew, or Thomas. It's always shit like Leonardo, Eugene, or Alexander.

Not creative enough to come up with my own name, I wanted something unique, so I just mixed and matched normal names. A friend had made a comic he called Rob and Bob, so I did this.

I mean actual birth names.
