Used obv?

2019-08-01 06:20:24 UTC

Yeah, barely. Lowe's used to rent them out, but I can't imagine the program was popular. This was one of the rentals.

Finally got a manager to make a decision on what to do with a drawer full of these/the old paperwork for them, so they just said to mark them down to $5 and get rid of them.

2019-08-01 06:22:04 UTC

Didn't realize that it was that managers last day, lol. Comparable models are like $70.

2019-08-01 06:47:23 UTC

damn

2019-08-01 09:11:14 UTC

2019-08-01 09:11:43 UTC

been looking for one myself too

2019-08-01 09:11:55 UTC

just that i dont know any use expect home theater replacement (and i would need to get charger too ugh

2019-08-01 09:13:54 UTC

Haven't they already announced a really bad design flaw with them?

2019-08-01 09:14:15 UTC

not really bad but yeah they could have made the charging smarter

2019-08-01 09:14:50 UTC

only issue they have is that if you use __more expensive "smart" charger__ and __e-type usb cable__ you dont get any power to device as it thinks its audio device

2019-08-01 09:15:51 UTC

its mostly thanks to fucked up standardisation of USB-C

2019-08-01 09:16:04 UTC

but yeah they thankfully fixed that on later patches already afaik

2019-08-01 09:16:15 UTC

(sure you cant know what patch the device is before you get it ??)

2019-08-01 09:17:28 UTC

rather worse thing is not really design issue but just user-behaviour problem of raspberry needing proper" armor" case or active cooling

2019-08-01 09:17:44 UTC

as people overclock the poor thing and the heat throttling gets real

2019-08-01 09:18:07 UTC

specialy obvious when its inside the raspberry(tm) case

2019-08-01 09:18:10 UTC

Why do you have to ramble on about everything like a tard

2019-08-01 09:18:15 UTC

as there is no aircirculation on that case

2019-08-01 09:18:34 UTC

cause illiterate fucks like you could use some knowledge

2019-08-01 09:18:56 UTC

do we europeans always need to teach americans about science and common sense goddamit ./S

2019-08-01 09:23:41 UTC

>we europeans always need to teach americans

2019-08-01 09:24:10 UTC

I'm not disagreeing fully but it sounds really cringe when you actually say it

2019-08-01 09:24:47 UTC

|| i know ||

2019-08-01 09:45:09 UTC

Okay retard

2019-08-01 10:19:37 UTC

@Tervy apparently you can just add some more resistors to unfuck it?

2019-08-01 10:19:48 UTC

read something about it ages ago so I could be very wrong

2019-08-01 10:20:22 UTC

not sure how hard it would be (where the resistors are located and how

2019-08-01 10:20:45 UTC

but in theory its just replacing single resistor what is shared between 2 pins with 2 separate resistors afaik

2019-08-01 10:20:58 UTC

just slap a few more in there EZ

2019-08-01 10:21:07 UTC

```"We are still working on Raspberry Pi 4 support. You may have seen some unofficial images from other people with some emulators working – but please bear with us. We also have some emulators working, but don’t want to release anything until we are able to realistically support it."``` - RetroPie team
2019-08-01 10:25:52 UTC
meanwhile it looks like i need to get one faster than i thought
2019-08-01 10:26:01 UTC
pi 2 (v1.1 shitpiece) is acting up
2019-08-01 10:27:21 UTC
also i totaly forgot that pi4 is microhdmi bullshit too
2019-08-01 10:27:49 UTC
so i would need to get adapter too
2019-08-01 10:27:49 UTC
aaaaaa
2019-08-01 10:28:15 UTC
Got myself an Orange Pi One from last year
2019-08-01 10:28:29 UTC
Has RetrOrangePie on it right now
2019-08-01 10:28:40 UTC
an Orange Pi fork of Retro Pie
2019-08-01 10:31:44 UTC
also those adaptors literally cost fuck all
2019-08-01 10:31:56 UTC
and if you have two monitors, how do you not have a proper pc to use?
