bing bing wahoo and you got the job
I'm going to report this job listing
why would you need to speak mandarin though?
area with lots of chinks?
or possibility of working in China
No, in Auckland New Zealand.
The job is for an Safety Engineer, and they say it would be advantageous for the applicant to be able to speak Mandarin.
But today they changed the listing and now it a requirement that they applicant has to speak Mandarin.
lmao
I reported the listing for discrimination.
I see this all the time. Chinese companies hiring only Chinese workers. I once went to a worksite where 14/15 workers where Chinese. I couldn't communicate with any of them becuase they didn't speak English. The one white guy there tried to help me, but even his fellow workers didn't help him.
>post it again

So I had to take a long break from looking into it, but initial troubleshooting steps seem to indicate that SDXC cards (64g and higher) need to be specially formatted in FAT32, as well as NOOBS actually being totally unsuitable for the Raspberry Pi 4...maybe.
I'm finalizing formatting the card (total overwrite no less, not sure why they think this makes a difference) before dabbing out to guiformat to make it a fat32 card.
Then flash Raspbian. I've made a shitload of Live USBs of Ubuntu over the last few years, so I'm mostly familiar with this part.
Hopefully it just wasn't able to read in exFAT card and will otherwise work fine. I really don't want to return this shit and wait another umpteen days.
Looks like the FAT32 did the trick. NOOBS works, in the end.
what you planning with your pi?
PiHole ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Otherwise will probably retire the shitted Sony Vaio Duo 13 to the kitchen to serve as a literal digital grocery list and weather/news box, and use the Pi as a media thing instead.
i tried pihole
it was so frustrating to setup with my crappy router i gave up
