it's doable to get it out, you just need to melt one side and wiggle it up

repeat on the other side

it'd be a lot easier if you just clip off the leads and take them out one by one

it'll probably take a bit more heat than normal because it's connected to a lot of copper

depends how your soldering iron is

also helps to have a bit of solder wick handy
