white smoke is normal
all engineers I worked with just shove the iron into the flux
depends what kind of flux it is
you can use the flux for cleaning your tip too
everyone where i work uses liquid flux and applies it to the joint

how are these specs?
it's a computer!
<:implying:589103384699863050> paying over $300 for a computer
its clearly not a thinkpad, so go ahead and buy a macbook if that's what you want
<:implying:589103384699863050> Amazon releases a new kindle
<:implying:589103384699863050> it's $250
<:implying:589103384699863050> for an E-Reader
<:implying:589103384699863050> in 2019
im still using a 45$ kindle from 2012 and all the new ones suck ass because they dont have physical buttons or look as legible without backlight

????
I already have this feature
on my old kobo
colored e-ink when?
literally the only think stopping me from buying one
There is limited color e ink already
I've seen 3 color e ink before, black white and one color
I wish e ink wasn't so locked down
I mean the tech itself
It's expensive because one company controls it all
If it had I think there would have been some price fluctuations
I really want an android E-ink with a big screen, but anything with a decent size is $$$$
I don't want it for books
I prefer physical
I want it for mango
Yeah, gotta have a big screen to see it all at once
I've read plenty of mango on my phone, and I don't want to get a dedicated reader just to have a screen that's 1" bigger, it's a waste
But I also can't justify $500 for a 10 inch e reader just for Chinese newspaper comics
Yeah tachiyomi is exclusively what I use for mango
That's why I have a requirement of an *android* e-ink
Because I'm not gonna go back to manually adding shit like some fucking caveman
I don't run into low rez scans on tachiyomi enough for that to be a concern
Catching up on e ink being expensive, even if the patent was lost I don't think there would be much competition either
The market just isn't that big and it's getting smaller by the day with all the people using tablets (which are both cheaper and doing a lot more)
