all of them are from mexico and they literally are NOT spicy at all

most of the chillies here aren't spicy as well, except those bird eye cultivars from malaysia
I'm not sure - my chinese mother in law has only had sichuan peppers her whole life
when she came to america she tried some habanero chicken wings
and was fucking dying and crying and couldnt handle it
so i think different spices hit people differently, especially if they arent used to it
