@𝕄𝕚𝕕𝕠𝕣𝕚 wait hold on you mean you can connect another set of headphones into the 3.5 on them when you're using the 6.5 to put audio through to them and it'll have sound in both?

2019-04-03 11:40:32 UTC

I've had these for 2 years and I had no idea ~~not that I've ever had a reason to try doing that~~

2019-04-03 11:43:23 UTC

@foxhunt don't have that anymore but I didn't get customs on it

2019-04-03 11:43:34 UTC

that is good to hear

2019-04-03 15:26:57 UTC

yeah i was hella lucky too, they became pretty tough on china, but mine arrived from "estonia" that is maybe how it did not end up taxed.

2019-04-03 15:27:27 UTC

yes you can do exactly that, it is super comfy for mountain trip (in train sharing)

2019-04-03 15:28:46 UTC

my got same package, as @Tribit i wonder if there is sound difference between that and black pro with the pro black box.

2019-04-03 15:32:31 UTC

It's just packaging

2019-04-03 15:32:34 UTC

same headphones

2019-04-03 15:33:00 UTC

good to hear, i mean also the right and left is not marked inside shells, but that is minor detail

2019-04-03 15:33:13 UTC

tbh from the 2 versions i got, standard one is more comfy

because the larger foam does not distrubute the weight right, it does get very "top heavy" with the "pro" version and does not fit so well

2019-04-03 15:39:21 UTC

when it comes to music, both have very nice bass and sound fun, but sounds in the non pro version are sharper, maybe just because of the shell, if someone told me there is no other difference, i would believe him

I'm not running it on something super fancy, just 20$ external audio card

2019-04-03 15:40:32 UTC

but end effect is that "pro" version is less tiring for longer listening sessions, buth both are purchase i'd recommend

2019-04-03 18:36:48 UTC

only ships to canada tho :(

2019-04-03 19:35:26 UTC

x2 is shit

2019-04-03 22:21:33 UTC

Black version went to my friend for 50$ superlux 662hd evo went to my mom for bread with blueberry jam and i m keeping the fancy version that does look like something made of cheapest plastic avaible, but color scheme is good match for my furniture.

2019-04-04 05:33:15 UTC

What the hell does "sound fun" mean?

2019-04-04 07:58:11 UTC

it means they trying to justify the purchase

2019-04-04 10:50:43 UTC

Can I beat https://meh.com/ with something from Ali, or for that price should I just get the Polk?

2019-04-04 11:16:03 UTC

From you I expected that tou built your own <:thvnk:332928260004642827>

2019-04-04 11:39:21 UTC

@timsandtoms why is the price much lower than amazon

2019-04-04 11:43:44 UTC

And for chink speakers, it's either edifier r1280t/r1280db (latter has Bluetooth) or Swan d1010 (which seems to be oos on amazon)

2019-04-04 11:44:13 UTC

And speakers are a big and mostly hollow box so it's usually more cost effective to just buy locally

2019-04-04 11:44:42 UTC

@Deleted User has the r1280db iirc

2019-04-04 11:51:34 UTC

Are the edifier r1280t a big step up vs these?

2019-04-04 11:52:35 UTC

And meh is a daily deal site, hence the crazy low price.

2019-04-04 11:52:56 UTC

It's from the guy that did http://www.woot.com, pretty much to the day that his non-compete was up after Amazon bought Woot.

2019-04-04 12:03:47 UTC

@timsandtoms dont think u can beat the polk for 40$ lol

2019-04-04 12:05:46 UTC

do you have to have passive speakers?

2019-04-04 12:06:44 UTC

these are well reviewed fwiw

2019-04-04 12:06:47 UTC

65$ tho

2019-04-04 12:08:25 UTC

id prob take the swan over them though

2019-04-04 12:11:42 UTC

look on /r/budgetaudiophile

2019-04-04 12:11:44 UTC

2019-04-04 12:54:11 UTC

Didn't know about that sub, thanks, I'll poke around.

2019-04-04 13:42:23 UTC
