2019-09-28 15:34:07 UTC

I have some of the RGB lights, they're good

2019-09-28 15:34:09 UTC

no hub is very tempting

2019-09-28 15:34:27 UTC

But I literally never use the RGB, so I could have just gotten the normal ones

2019-09-28 15:34:38 UTC

Yeet your life

yeeeaaaaaah but the rgb bulbs were only $2 more

like I know I won't use the rgb function

2019-09-28 15:40:08 UTC

Any phones with dual SD cards?

2019-09-28 15:41:10 UTC

What on earth are you using that much storage space for

2019-09-28 15:46:11 UTC

shit I'd use rgb

2019-09-28 15:46:25 UTC

can you control the light intensity in other ways than the phone?

2019-09-28 15:47:38 UTC

2019-09-28 15:47:48 UTC

2019-09-28 15:48:14 UTC

2019-09-28 15:48:39 UTC

2019-09-28 18:41:25 UTC

2019-09-28 21:05:43 UTC

I just turned on my Chinese smart light actually

2019-09-28 21:05:55 UTC

Wifi, dimmable. Works with my Google home. All the rgb colors

2019-09-28 21:18:30 UTC

<:soy:589104157248585749>

@Cole I have all my lights connected to Home Assistant

yeelight allows for direct LAN control so setting everything up takes mere minutes

I've looked into IKEA's tradfri but for my usecase (multiple bulbs + HASS support) I'd either have to go all DIY with a zigbee usb receiver or buy the additional $40 hub

figured yeelight was a better option since I already had two

2019-09-28 21:45:12 UTC

yes yes but this assumes you already have a smart home system, I don't and I don't want to set one up

2019-09-28 21:45:24 UTC

as far as I looked there is no physical remote such as the IKEA one
