oh no ming lee knows when I turn off my lights
>implying there isn't tiny microphones hidden in them
They can hear how many bugs are buzzing in your light fixtures
@Cad theyre great
no hub, direct lan access
all wifi though so make sure you don't use a trash ap
You just repeated my joke
nice, I need to get some yeetlights
I have some of the RGB lights, they're good
no hub is very tempting
But I literally never use the RGB, so I could have just gotten the normal ones
Yeet your life
yeeeaaaaaah but the rgb bulbs were only $2 more
like I know I won't use the rgb function
at all
Any phones with dual SD cards?
shit I'd use rgb
can you control the light intensity in other ways than the phone?
it has Alexa and google home integration
IFTT too
all of what you said still means phone to me
ikea bulbs for example have a remote like this https://www.ikea.com/PIAimages/0609380_PE684491_S5.JPG?f=s
>He doesn't have Alexa constantly listening in his home
get a load of this fag
My brother in law has both an Alexa and a Google home
I dont know why
Twice the listening in capabilities
I just turned on my Chinese smart light actually
Wifi, dimmable. Works with my Google home. All the rgb colors

@Cole I have all my lights connected to Home Assistant
yeelight allows for direct LAN control so setting everything up takes mere minutes
I've looked into IKEA's tradfri but for my usecase (multiple bulbs + HASS support) I'd either have to go all DIY with a zigbee usb receiver or buy the additional $40 hub
figured yeelight was a better option since I already had two
yes yes but this assumes you already have a smart home system, I don't and I don't want to set one up
as far as I looked there is no physical remote such as the IKEA one
