the CPU on the other hand sucks, I converted a 2 hour movie with ffmpeg to burn-in the subtitles because VLC was unable to stream subtitles over chromecast, it took almost 5 hours to burn in the subtitles into a 2 hour 1080p h.264

while my desktop computer (Ryzen 7, 32 GB Ram) took about 15 min

2019-02-17 19:39:16 UTC

of course we are comparing a low-end laptop to a higher-end desktop but 15 min vs 5 hours for the same task

2019-02-17 19:47:40 UTC

2019-02-17 19:48:12 UTC

2019-02-17 19:48:22 UTC

2019-02-17 19:48:25 UTC

2019-02-17 19:48:27 UTC

mi a1

2019-02-17 19:48:33 UTC

you can teach them all codes

2019-02-17 19:48:35 UTC

but Im not the only one using it

2019-02-17 19:48:53 UTC

I kept my old RN3P just to use it as a remote for basically everything

2019-02-17 19:49:19 UTC

a remote that you have to recharge every other day?

2019-02-17 19:49:51 UTC

I found one on ebay but its 1. expensive 2. is the ugliest thing in the world

2019-02-17 19:53:29 UTC

No in flight mode when using it only a few times a day, without apps in the background, it lasts 4-5 days

2019-02-17 21:01:38 UTC

you can even charge it from tvs anyway so i guess its alright

2019-02-17 21:14:11 UTC

its 15$

2019-02-17 21:14:12 UTC

lol

2019-02-17 21:14:14 UTC

that's cheap for a remote

2019-02-17 21:20:00 UTC

another $15 for shipping

2019-02-18 00:23:43 UTC

Hello, which cheap headset for ps4?

2019-02-18 00:23:59 UTC

I know someone who bought one for 15 euros and it's pretty good

2019-02-18 00:27:44 UTC

how do ps4 headsets work

2019-02-18 00:28:05 UTC

is it 2.5mm or something

2019-02-18 00:29:41 UTC

alright pm'd myself the fix

2019-02-18 00:30:08 UTC

<https://www.reddit.com/r/PS4/comments/1q1h8g/headphone_and_ds4_compatibility_explanation/> it looks like you can use earphones with a in-line microphone

2019-02-18 00:30:29 UTC

as long as its following the normal standard and not the apple standard of trrs

2019-02-18 00:31:00 UTC

so just buy a pair of cheap earphones with an inline cable for like $10-$15 and you're probably good to go

2019-02-18 00:31:12 UTC

Thanks

2019-02-18 00:40:33 UTC

no, ps4 controllers have got a 3.5mm jack

2019-02-18 00:40:37 UTC

then some who cares port

2019-02-18 00:41:18 UTC

plus, if you are using ds4windows, you might as well line in to the computer, not via some silly ds4 tool

2019-02-18 01:07:32 UTC

why are 4k monitors so expensive

2019-02-18 01:10:49 UTC

300 usd is pretty reasonable

2019-02-18 01:38:57 UTC

@Gerald what good monitor is 300

2019-02-18 01:41:28 UTC

LG 24UD58-B

2019-02-18 01:43:10 UTC

unless size is a factor in a good monitor
