@Tervy Okay thanks for info

2019-03-15 10:06:30 UTC

but yeah check what apps the "android TV" supports

2019-03-15 10:06:42 UTC

it does not have 1:1 support to whole android universe apps

2019-03-15 10:06:48 UTC

but only "android tv" apps

2019-03-15 10:06:49 UTC

afaik

2019-03-15 10:07:11 UTC

there might be some workaround these days, i dont actively follow those circles

2019-03-15 10:08:00 UTC
2019-03-15 10:08:26 UTC

the most used list

2019-03-15 10:08:50 UTC

and ofc KODI opens even more doors

2019-03-15 10:09:39 UTC

apparently the new thing has ups and downs to it

2019-03-15 10:10:21 UTC

(updated month+ ago so there might be additional bugfixes already

2019-03-15 10:10:45 UTC

nothing game breaking but more info = you know what you are buying

2019-03-15 10:11:57 UTC

most problems seem to be the dolby audio 5.1 support and no spdif

2019-03-15 10:12:14 UTC

I don’t want to mess with kodi. Tried this shit on raspberry pi.

2019-03-15 10:12:16 UTC

and some minor annoyances

2019-03-15 10:12:43 UTC

kodi is nice but needs some beef behind it

2019-03-15 10:13:01 UTC

and a lot of pre-setup

2019-03-15 10:14:23 UTC

I just wanted to watch some YouTube , twitch and maybe play some games

2019-03-15 10:14:34 UTC

does roku even have games ?

2019-03-15 10:14:49 UTC

but yeah for you it seems like android tv options like said mi box seem to be better investment

2019-03-15 10:14:57 UTC

I thought about used Apple TV

2019-03-15 10:17:28 UTC

apparently mi box does have stardew valley lol

2019-03-15 10:17:40 UTC

i was wondering if android tv has any games either

2019-03-15 10:20:32 UTC

and then there seems to be some emulators too

2019-03-15 10:20:37 UTC

quite neat

2019-03-15 10:20:41 UTC

Cool

2019-03-15 10:21:52 UTC

as in it can apparently run n64 games

2019-03-15 10:25:21 UTC

But which tv box worth the money

2019-03-15 10:25:45 UTC

Cheap and available on Ali?

2019-03-15 10:25:59 UTC

<:thenk:329322130804047872>

2019-03-15 10:27:01 UTC

but a price on "cheap"

2019-03-15 10:35:03 UTC

thanks for the heads up re: gearbest @Windatica

2019-03-15 10:36:18 UTC

i mean that mi box is probly easiest and most trusted cheap option.
Next from that: performance option is used(or good sale) nvidia shield (what is probly best android TV device out there hands down) for around 100-150 price if you find good deal)
