The thing is, even though some of my older friends don't like Trump, they're not really political enough to care if I have edgy views

one of my friends when I first met him was totally against immigration controls and stuff

last time I saw him over Winter Break he was telling me how everyone should just stay in their own country

problem is that a lot of my friends, even if they agree with my premises, it's very difficult for them to accept my conclusions due to personal reasons

I tried reaching out to my old normie friends. A few of them are really bright but when I tried explaining even the most basic bitch of our talking points and their eyes just gloss over

I actually had one tell me "dude...why do you care so much? We're just gonna die anyway"

like, they'll disagree with my conclusion, but they'll listen and be polite

Because of that I found myself distancing from them. Like I got so black pilled that they just wanted to play call of duty and go to the local bar that I stopped hanging with them

my friends are all good people who want the best for their families and that kinda stuff
they're not apathetic losers or anything

if you're an emotional thinker like most people are, "these immigrants are just like your parents" is a very compelling argument

but it just doesn't work on me because of my personality
I look at the data and think "immigration sucks, who cares what my parents did?"

The thing that really drove me nuts dude was the nihilism. Like the pure "not giving a shit" attitude and being okay with the idea of piss earth coming to fruition
