any of you know of any beverage coolers? <https://www.amazon.com/Electronic-Cooling-Machine-Portable-Beverage/dp/B07R5J7J6V/>
those are very inefficient way to waste energy :P
those with metal+water inside them are tad bit better but still not worth the cost usualy placed on them
also good morning my english skills are even more retarded today it seems...
just get freezer mug if you really want that stuff to be cold fast
anybody bought blank blu-ray discs from ali before? how well did they perform?
https://www.amazon.com/Double-Wall-Gel-Freezer-Mug/dp/B0094G1HZ8 anything similar to this
so none of them have peltier coolers in them it looks like, just metal and fans :^)
peltier cooler is one of worlds shittiest "innovations"
yea, but it won't work small scale just to cool an aluminum can of coke?
no and yes
there has to be some type of small cooling unit, not just fans and metal fins cooling
you get better result just taking that metal holder and throwing it to freezer
this is something we need to invent
yes we have fridges already
they are quite neat and efficient
no no no sir, small scale, for one can of coke in similar aluminum cup
I actually have something tiny I want to keep cool long term but not in the fridge. Do those little peltier single can fridges actually work?
what if I'm gaming for 36hrs and have like 24 cans of coke on standby for my vidya marathon, I don't want to leave my bedroom to head to the kitchen, that's what I need this for badly
My Lowe's is clearancing some mini fridges, get that, doubles as your TV stand, and you can put your 360 in it to mitigate RRoD
I'm not a console bro
i fucking draw it for you
....
also you should not game for 36 hours its extremely unhealthy for body
those steps might be only thing saving you...
but if you really have 24 cans just get one of mini compressor camping fridges/coolers/freezers
this type is still inefficient? if I ran tubes from it to the cans, liquid inside tubes, wouldn't cool can down 40F or whatever in minutes?
just fucking no
also that block for sure as heck aint foodsafe
``` Peltiers only have 10-15% Carnot efficiency, using 50 watts you can move a net ~3 watts of heat, less your design inefficiencies.```
to quote my notepad
oh, god, they're that bad?
YES THEY ARE FUCKING BAD
i dont mean to sound mean or agressive over this but "usable peltier usecases" as book is shorter than french war victories
and shitty compressor coolers/fridges cost 100~ish dollars these days
and can provide tons of more value
and if you look at the bottom of the can the peltiers main cooling wont even reach anything else but the really really small surface area there
thus the holder is needed part for it.. and even then it kills the efficiency to sub 1 watt most likely what eventualy reaches the can
