Has anyone used those kind of automatic watering devices? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33004913154.html?spm=a2g0o.detail.1000014.13.72c3396bswxOvr&gps-id=pcDetailBottomMoreOtherSeller&scm=1007.13338.128206.0&scm_id=1007.13338.128206.0&scm-url=1007.13338.128206.0&pvid=80b24b39-dd12-46a0-a7c5-cc404161b5ad
I feel like those 'low tech' things might be more reliable than cloud connected xi jinping social credit system approved systems
But unsure
Also it's for decoration plants not food ones so I fortunately won't get cancer from it
If you wanna go full primitive
Thought about it as well but I'll have to build a controller of some sort
It'll be for automated watering while I'm out (for work or vacation)
Nah, it's not about going primitive but more about reliability
@Sapharanth Barely, and the LED isn't cut-out. LED sticks through the glass on the A2.

(just remove the m. at the start of the URL and it switches to desktop version)
As for that, I already thought of a slightly more complicated but probably a bit safer method using an aquarium water pump
A bit more costy but second hand is sufficient for that (since those devices are designed to run 24/7) and it will avoid having to puncture a bucket (with the additional point of failure for water-proofing)
(around me I can find those pumps for less than 10€)
But then it'll almost cost me the same... 10$ for the socket timer, 10$ for the pump, 10$ for hoses and such...
Hi guys
Any of you ordered a decent usb-c dock
lately ?
I did went with one, but weirdly the usb ports not really working on it
I guess I got chinked
I bought this one:
@leventebandi Check Orico on aliexpress, I think they have such things
what pocket knife should i pick up from ali? any recommended brands?
Go to gearbest and write Sanrenmu in the search bar
Or ganzo
@leventebandi I'd not use that
better to get something from Orico or Ugreen instead
chinkshit bed
neat but its shit
because no function row
65% is a disease
also keycaps have a great font
good ideas just strange and bad execution
I bet it's better than retard me paying $160 for a keyboard
How'd that happen
Roccat overpriced "german engineering"
Buuut it's a really nice keyboard and I wanted the open keycap design. Vulcan 120 Aimo is the model name
