if we are to be Christians, we must believe what Jesus himself believed. Also we should try to teach what Jesus taught. Jesus taught about the Kingdom of God, this isn't about dying and going to play a harp on pink clouds, this is about LIFE. Resurrection. the dead have no knowledge, the righteous wait for resurrection.

I see. Well, I hope you find a good partner that actually cares for you. These days is hard for men to find good women. Our culture and media have been influenced by some-some people, and many young modern women took the bait.

I have never seen such a low appreciation for men than in these years (comparing with other historical studies). It's quite sad.

I see. I will be honest with you, I have sometimes thought that "if you wait, you won't get it". That's the message I get from my close ones: I tell them that I am praying and waiting on God, but they always tell me I should "go and look, because is not about standing there doing nothing".

This persuaded me for a while, and I went into an inner turmoil because I did not know where to begin with. I am of the likes that detest the raw concept of dating, hence I approached prayer as a better solution.

But then it came a point that time passed by, and, as you know, one gets frustrated by it, and then you start thinking: "man, maybe they were right...I should be doing something". And thus this led me to make some "mental gymnastics" with the Bible. And then I would refer to my close peers to the passage of Abraham sending a servant to pick a wife for his son. Now, while knowing they were in a different time, I'd use that passage to "teach myself" (if you get my point) that Isaac didn't actually "do" something, because his father did it for him.
