Jesus Curses the Fig Tree
<12> On the following day, when they came from Bethany, he was hungry. <13> Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to see whether perhaps he would find anything on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. <14> He said to it, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again." And his disciples heard it. ```

11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
It is not for bashing people for their religious beliefs here. It is for civil discourse on beliefs.
Obviously if you are trying to say Christianity is false Christians will not like that. Use bible verses to support your supposition. If they see them not the same as you. OK.
In other words be as nice as you can be to the others here.
Christianity is the only true way to God
Everything else is invalid
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
I'm an atheist and I am not trinitarian
Yeah I don't get it
I'm up for some discussion on opinions of past mythos and their relevance in today's society
whether or not they still have a following and if their texts still hold some real life value
"Religious discussion is allowed but do not force your beliefs onto others. If you wish to promote your religious beliefs, please keep it civil.
Do NOT mock or disrespect other peoples beliefs. "
I hope to have a civil discussion about it
@Bibleman Same here. The three are not connected. Atheist believe God not real. Jews and Muslims believe God is One most believe round earth. Many Christians believe the Son is the Spirit of God in the flesh.
What do you believe about this video. I am not sharing my opinion. Only watched the beginning so far. Not where he expresses his belief on it.
not going to lie, the esword thing looked cool
That does look like the face of an evil witch. Strange how so many of these paintings can be seen differently when examined.
Look for a demon under every rock and you shall find one
I think that's how the quote went
anyways
any type of analysis can yield any type of conclusion
you're welcome to have your own but it doesn't necessarily reflect the mass or the intentions of the artist
you're welcome to have your opinion, that's the beauty of art appreciation and analysis
I make no man my master. I just take what seems logical and diss what does not seem logical. This painting always seemed very strange to me. Why all the nude people. Porn or what? How is a Church the proper place for porn?
Standards change, societies change
at one point everyone had a thing for naked sculptures
