They had stairs we could not use. Guardrails far too high for us to use. Windows we could not see out of. On and on.

How come modern buildings are still sometimes built with larger proportions

I lived in a house built for Giants for a few months. The window was 6' high at the lowest from the original floor. A new floor was added. The original steps were 2' high each. And that window was 8' high from bottom to top or perhaps 10'.

Kinda miss that I’ll never see a giant in modern time

this structure was in san Francisco. world history claims that they discovered it empty, when in reality there was already something here. they claim to have built this in 10 years for a fair, and then immediately tore it down. nonsense, it was always there, they painted it white to make it look new and then tore it down to hide the evidence
