What is everyone's thoughts on Yoga/meditation? Im not so convinced it is Satanic in nature...

2019-07-04 07:35:21 UTC

It definitely is, the poses are overtly sexual in some instances, the whole concept of chakras is resembling "ye shall be as gods" the word meditation had a different meaning in the bible than modern new age people use

2019-07-04 07:35:38 UTC

Interesting...

2019-07-04 07:36:25 UTC

David meditated on God's Torah. He didn't sit there and chant a mantra. He studied God's word in deep focus and commitment

regarding Yoga

2019-07-04 07:38:30 UTC

I always knew this New Age crap was satanic, and that Hinduism is also Satanic, but hadn't thought about yoga... in retrospect it makes sense.

2019-07-04 07:40:08 UTC

If it's pagan it's evil.

2019-07-04 07:40:27 UTC

Unless it's biblical

2019-07-04 07:40:43 UTC

The Chinese have record of the flood close to the bible

2019-07-04 07:41:06 UTC

Whenever something is true it leads to bible

2019-07-04 07:41:20 UTC

good point

2019-07-04 10:29:59 UTC

I'm pretty sure every River civilization has a flood story

2019-07-04 10:30:09 UTC

Except for Egypt that is

2019-07-04 10:31:25 UTC

You can compare the religions of these places to the rivers they hug

2019-07-04 10:32:23 UTC

The Nile is calm and predictable, as is Horus and the rest, collective, calm, the afterlife is a predictable place easy to prepare for, just as the seasonal flood is.

2019-07-04 10:34:51 UTC

The Mesopotamian gods must've been destructive, savage, unpredictable deities of hate. The Tigris and Euphrates ran through a sparse land devoid of resources and complex irrigation systems failed against them. It is no secret that the gods of Assyria demanded constant war from its kings, as the sparse amount of resources demanded a divine reason to rule and conquer.

2019-07-04 16:53:18 UTC

@Xi Jinping This may offend @Bibleman bibleman. If so I hope you will realize it is not meant to offend.

You most likely did well to leave Yoga. However it can be a path that will lead to truth and enlightenment. Thus out of it into being Christian or at least a Bible believer. This is one thing Christians seem to not understand. God works through other religions. God can be summoned through them. This video says gods because that is Hindu belief. But they are fake and do not exist in reality. God however does and will intervene to lead to actual truth. God will lead you out in a way that does not prove who God is. But to a better place.

2019-07-04 16:57:48 UTC

To call them pagan is simply improper. Non-bible is more proper. It just alienates them when you do that. Yes they are pagan religions. That is a fact. However to help them the last thing you should do is call them pagans. I could call you a pagan. How would you like that. You would hate it and hate me for saying it. I do not see you as a pagan I see you on a proper path to truly know God. When people are thinking about entering the proper path help them. Do not alienate them with Bible verses that says they are a pagan. Just how I see it. And again I do not consider you a pagan. However I also do not consider many others pagans either. You stop being a pagan when you are seeking the truth of the Bible.

2019-07-04 17:01:09 UTC

By the way. Do not misread summoned. I mean God will see this as asking for an answer to prayer and God will answer that prayer. This is not at all like summoning a demon to come and make a house in your body and sort of take it over.

2019-07-04 17:12:09 UTC

If they use Yoga to do that, summon a demon, they will get what they asked for and it is very satanic and pagan. It is the path away from God. A very bad path to take.

2019-07-04 17:50:24 UTC

God does NOT work through pagan religions, those are all imitations and mockeries of the true way to God, they hold no value except dooming you

2019-07-04 17:56:56 UTC

If it isn't biblical it is pagan

2019-07-04 17:57:07 UTC

We are all welcome to our individual beliefs. I believe God loves everyone on earth and does all he can to help us come to truth. I find it the norm that people aer led out of these pagan religions and I give God the credit.

2019-07-04 17:57:44 UTC

I am not saying they are not pagan. They are.

2019-07-04 17:57:59 UTC

There is no multiple paths, there is 1 way only to God, yes, God can lead them out of those religions, but to say that those religions bring people to God is false

2019-07-04 17:58:57 UTC

All I am saying. As you state it. One path to God at some point. Lots of paths to get out of false beliefs on to the true path to God.

2019-07-04 18:22:36 UTC

This is how evil pagans can get. This article from a Gnostic, true pagan.

Exodus 16:25-31 kjv

2019-07-04 19:32:32 UTC

**Exodus 16:25-31 - King James Version (KJV)**

```Dust
<25> And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the Lord: to day ye shall not find it in the field. <26> Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none. <27> And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none. <28> And the Lord said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws? <29> See, for that the Lord hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. <30> So the people rested on the seventh day. <31> And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey. ```
2019-07-04 19:34:35 UTC
This is where Yehovah commanded a second time to stay in the place. Not to walk too far. To not gather food on the Sabbath. God was upset how people would not follow the commandments and the law. This was before God gave the people the ten commandments through Moses.
Numbers 16:19-40
**Numbers 16:19-40 - New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)**
```Dust

<19> Then Korah assembled the whole congregation against them at the entrance of the tent of meeting. And the glory of the Lord appeared to the whole congregation. <20> Then the Lord spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying: <21> Separate yourselves from this congregation, so that I may consume them in a moment. <22> They fell on their faces, and said, "O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one person sin and you become angry with the whole congregation?"<23> And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: <24> Say to the congregation: Get away from the dwellings of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. <25> So Moses got up and went to Dathan and Abiram; the elders of Israel followed him. <26> He said to the congregation, "Turn away from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, or you will be swept away for all their sins." <27> So they got away from the dwellings of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram; and Dathan and Abiram came out and stood at the entrance of their tents, together with their wives, their children, and their little ones. <28> And Moses said, "This is how you shall know that the Lord has sent me to do all these works; it has not been of my own accord: <29> If these people die a natural death, or if a natural fate comes on them, then the Lord has not sent me. <30> But if the Lord creates something new, and the ground opens its mouth and swallows them up, with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into```

Sheol, then you shall know that these men have despised the Lord."<31> As soon as he finished speaking all these words, the ground under them was split apart. <32> The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, along with their households—everyone who belonged to Korah and all their goods. <33> So they with all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol; the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly. <34> All Israel around them fled at their outcry, for they said, "The earth will swallow us too!" <35> And fire came out from the Lord and consumed the two hundred fifty men offering the incense. <36> Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: <37> Tell Eleazar son of Aaron the priest to take the censers out of the blaze; then scatter the fire far and wide. <38> For the censers of these sinners have become holy at the cost of their lives. Make them into hammered plates as a covering for the altar, for they presented them before the Lord and they became holy. Thus they shall be a sign to the Israelites. <39> So Eleazar the priest took the bronze censers that had been presented by those who were burned; and they were hammered out as a covering for the altar— <40> a reminder to the Israelites that no outsider, who is not of the descendants of Aaron, shall approach to offer incense before the Lord, so as not to become like Korah and his company—just as the Lord had said to him through Moses. ```

Now if you want to understand the Talmud and how it is used. This is on verse 30:

2019-07-04 19:43:10 UTC

I get one of these weekly. It helps me understand the mindset of the paganized Jews. I am most certainly not agreeing with this Talmud but this is the reality of it. In this case Rashi does not twist it completely out of context. Often he does that. Not that I agree with Rashi. New only meaning something he had not done to these people yet.

2019-07-04 19:46:10 UTC

Was Yehovah provoked. Well I suppose you can debate that. As I look at it this was just Yehovah trying again to get the people to understand that they should do proper things and some Prophet should not try to take himself above Yehovah. Like happened here.

As to this Rashi. Well he is just like this man where the earth opened up and swallowed him.

2019-07-04 19:46:27 UTC

He is a pagan worshiper.

2019-07-04 21:10:28 UTC

I agree with that Steve
