i can prove that everything Jesus said about how to live righteously is a good idea. You will not be able to see the spiritual side of life until you do this. you are possessed, and do not have the Spirit within you, and so your mind will always cling to your temptations and never try what I ask
Just don't put claims in my mouth
Its annoying
I could make certain normative claims as well, and they'd hold true.
Your point?
temptations are like walking through a desert. it is hard at first, but once you get through, you find the oasis.
A lot of people made those claims
those who never try will never know. you do not try, and so you do not know
Temptations are everywhere
Saints, Bhudda, they all hold true to this date, which one is the ultimate truth?
and you succumb to them, so you cannot see
And temptation only make sense if you have an end term product. i.e heaven.
@Friedrich depends which one talks to you
I think god is kind if Christianity is the wrong one than I hope he forgives me
buddha is wrong because you can’t resist temptation on your own. you need the Spirit of God within you. I am the opposite of what I used to be before the Spirit entered me. you cannot know until you try.
And even heaven doesn't make sense in the general term, that is why I devised an alternate description.
Lol
Prove that.
That you need the "spirit of God"
you demand tests and miracles because you cannot resist temptations
I don't demand either, I simply say show me where it is the casem
You can't prove "spirit of god"
Its faith
And stop assuming I'm an athiest.
You cant measure spirit of god
I'm not assuming anything
Faith is defined as "pistis" in Hebrew.
I'm just saying
I'll elaborate on that later.
You can't prove it
No, I'm talking to Dew
He keeps saying "I'm falling into temptation"
even if heaven and God were not real, resisting temptations is still a good idea. the fact that you wont even try proves that it is not the spiritual realm that matters to you, but what you refuse to give up
Disregarding my theistic world view.
And who says we are all delivered into temptation?
Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone.
