```Another secular authority, Phlegon, wrote a book entitled Chronicles, which was quoted by Julius Africanus.  Like Thallus,  Phiegon acknowledges that a darkness fell upon the land about the time of  Christ’s death, and like Thallus he attributes this to a solar eclipse:
“During the time of Tiberius Caesar an eclipse of the sun   occurred during the full moon.” (Africanus, Chronography, 18.1)```
Yes I believe there was a Jesus Christ figure. Dates are lies and such. I believe many of the teachings of Jesus in the New Testament are valid.
2019-07-10 00:45:12 UTC
So you see, Christianity was adopted by the Roman Empire after years of persecution in order to quell the rioting that followed his crucification, only they edited things and made their own version of it, called Catholicism.
2019-07-10 00:45:13 UTC
I posted a video in civil debate. Watch it and he makes many points from a book which was written about true history and how it was erased for many reasons. Seems far more valid than the history we are taught.
2019-07-10 00:45:54 UTC
I make no claim to know how it works.
2019-07-10 00:45:56 UTC
What you ought to focus on is the mysticism and the metaphysical, or the symbolism and proto-psychology of Christianity—the wisdom.
2019-07-10 00:46:39 UTC
I think Psalms is the best place to go to for wisdom and how to get it although start with Proverbs.
2019-07-10 00:47:06 UTC
```In regards to "Symtheism" or Symbolic Christianity:

1) The personification of God in the Bible is a literary device,

2) God’s only consciousness is our collective consciousness (Society),

3) Miracles are the result of the laws of physics not in exception to them,

4) The actual (in reality) resurrection of Christ not necessary (in complete disagreement with Paul),

5) Spirit not a disembodied persona but merely the impact of one’s life on society,

6) Belief in Scriptural (OT) heaven and hell not Catholicism constructed heaven and hell,

7) Recognition of Bible being a construct of the Catholic Church,

8) Gospel of John written with a political agenda as priority,

9) Recognition that “Paul” hijacked Christianity,

10) Almost all prophesies have been fulfilled such that there’s nothing to be waiting on like a 2nd coming or “rapture”.```

2019-07-10 00:47:07 UTC

@Steve Angell Ever beard about the reincarnation trap? There’s a theory that goes on saying that our consciousness becomes trapped and always get recycled back to earth.

2019-07-10 00:48:19 UTC

Funny that Resurrection in Western Christianity can be parallel with Eastern Hinduism's reincarnation—Gnosticism is about escaping reincarnation, just as Buddhism is focused on escaping the wheel of life.

2019-07-10 00:48:46 UTC

I do not believe in the ressurection of Jesus. Do not believe it happened. Primary reason. Mark was the first Gospel written and no body found but also he was not resurrected. They added that to it much later on.

2019-07-10 00:49:42 UTC

In a more logical manner, resurrection or reincarnation of the soul can be witnessed by transfer of personality, or the incarnation of specific psychological archetypes—such as the traits of Judas or Lucifer.

2019-07-10 00:50:08 UTC

Yes going on to Heaven though these people are deceived as i see it. They would want to be reincarnated if they knew what love really was. To help others on earth.

2019-07-10 00:50:57 UTC

Those personality-type quizzes you took in school were a way for the system to see into your psyche and figure out what kind of soul you house.

2019-07-10 00:50:58 UTC

If God gave me the choice. I believe he will at some point. I would choose to come back and help people. Not go to Heaven where I could do less to help.

2019-07-10 00:54:20 UTC

Think of Heaven as being stuck in church for an eternity—of course no-one would want that. Even if it was a state of spiritual bliss, eventually it would have to grow tiresome, and boring without any drama. Also, without contrasts like suffering, happiness is a lot less enjoyable—without duality it is diluted.

2019-07-10 01:02:07 UTC

The bible does not tell us we are going to heaven rather it says Gods kingdom is coming to earth.

2019-07-10 01:04:52 UTC

Not at all what I think of Heaven. As I see it there is the Council of Heaven. Yehovah of Hosts. All there work together and they are who Yehovah (God ) is. Not a single entity. They are continually Creating earths and adding to the number in Heaven. If you do get board there you can come back to earth. Be born and learn how to have pure love again. I have no doubt some do that.

2019-07-10 01:05:57 UTC

No beginning and no end.

2019-07-10 01:07:19 UTC

John 14 and 17 say Jesus returned to be One with the Father and we all can do that. What I think people think Heaven is.

2019-07-10 01:07:47 UTC

You might need John 7 for some of that.

2019-07-10 01:17:15 UTC

Steve that view sounds very new ageish to me friend

2019-07-10 01:23:36 UTC

@Steve Angell Are you a Mormon? 👀

2019-07-10 01:24:29 UTC

Aye Enn or mormon as well I had forgotten about that

2019-07-10 01:28:20 UTC

I was for 58 years. I am now 66. Very active most of that time.

2019-07-10 01:29:31 UTC

That is not what they believe. They believe God and Jesus have bodies of flesh and bone. I believe all in Heaven are spirits.

2019-07-10 01:30:00 UTC

Mormonism is completely heretical—a pyramid scheme.

2019-07-10 01:30:07 UTC

All are One. Like Jesus said.

2019-07-10 01:30:39 UTC

Seems to me most Christian large religions fit that.

2019-07-10 01:30:44 UTC

"As God was, Man is; as God is, Man may become," said their transhumanist prophet Snow.

2019-07-10 01:31:05 UTC

Christians don't believe in the godhood part, because it's luciferian.

2019-07-10 01:31:11 UTC

Yes fairly close. Close enough.

2019-07-10 01:31:45 UTC

Most Christians believe in the Godhead they just call it by a different name. The Trinity.

2019-07-10 01:32:19 UTC

That is Luciferian I agree. Both are.

2019-07-10 01:32:59 UTC

Though i would generally not say that to avoid making someone upset.

2019-07-10 01:33:53 UTC

Luciferians believe God is a spirit not a body of flesh and bones.

2019-07-10 01:34:11 UTC

Well God is Lucifer to them.

2019-07-10 01:36:26 UTC

Joseph Smith was a false prophet, a con-man, and a polygamous adulter—he hijacked religion for his own agenda in creating a cult. Mormons were chased out of the US jurisdiction in the later 1800s when Smith was killed ("martyred") because they were economic parasites—pseudo Jews: the ones warned in Revelations. They would come into towns preaching their 'gospel' in some conservative portrayal, but ultimately would abuse the power of religious freedom by selling their goods exclusively to other Mormons, causing townspeople to be forced to either convert or leave, as well as infiltrating powerful positions on the basis of being an evangelical type—from government to corporations, like later on with Disney—and essentially usurping local economies through these tactics. They'd also breed obsessively to expand their cults and bring in more followers, which is why Mormons would have multiple suitors. It is a perverted subversion.

2019-07-10 01:36:38 UTC

God has a form but it isn't flesh, in Daniel the form of God is discussed

2019-07-10 01:38:12 UTC

He never showed anyone his brass tablets because they never existed, and when the wife of the man sponsoring the publication of the *Book of Mormon* had her husband steal the introduction to prove they didn't exist, he couldn't retranslate it—so then he claimed to have had some vision and an angel told him to rewrite the whole thing.

2019-07-10 01:38:30 UTC

Jeremiah called Daniel a false prophet. I agree with Jeremiah. Daniel did not really say no I am as good as you and a true prophet.
