We develop new traits through random mutations that can be beneficial or possibly harmful. The traits can stick and spread throughout the population or go away due to natural selection

The smallest unit that can evolve is a population so no Citizen

Also that makes no sense. We arent going to turn into rat snakes unless we start genetic engineering ourselves. Its statistically impossible even over a pretty large time frame

Also @Vexing#8802 was pretty wrong. Evolution is defined as change in allele frequency over time which theoretically could give rise to adaptations over time

So when i say we are evolving, its not we're turning into rat snakes. Its we are doing nothing and our genes are only spreading throughout mankind
