Well of course if you break it down like that it's completely true. I think it's a matter of people not thinking of a "pc" as meaning personal computer, but anything other than a mac.

-- yep .."external mics" are great, sure, ..but also , .."webcams" have built-in mics too, ..so yeah, you can get a webcam for the Desktop, and ..that will be both "cam + mic"

--- lil headsets have Mics on them too, ..and ... earbuds too
