globe had hundreds of years or 2000 years if u believe eratosthenes even though his experiment worked on a flat earth with a local sun so i dont see that he proved anything

if the mechanism is based off a flat earth model and predicts celestial events i would say thats a good model

For the Antikythera Mechanism, I assume it doesn't matter which model it was based off of because it deals with astrological events

so it coulda been based off no model just time and what happens when ok

then after that noone sails west for 1600 years knowing their is a lot more out there. then no globe is made for 1600 years. then chris colombus travels 2500 miles and he thinks hes in india
