"Luminaries" are a Bokeh effect generated by an ill-equipped lens struggling to focus on light from a planet like Mars.

those pictures aren't the same. They're made to look the same but if you look closely at some major details they're different

as for the egypt/desert photo, I highly doubt that someone took that much effort to replicate a NASA rover shot *exactly perfect*
