Angular resolution
If you are closer to the bottom of an object, it will disappear first as the object or you move further away
The angle is more shallow the closer you are to the bottom
As you move away further from a mountain, the angle between you and the bottom of the mountain is more shallow,.therefore the angular resolution of the eye or lens will decrease faster than the angle between you and the top of the mountain
Once the angular resolution hits a certain degree, the eye or lens will stop resolving that part
That part will turn into a line
The horizon
That line is the ground infront of you starting to blend with the background
On the ocean, the surface of water and bottom of boat will start to blend together first before the top of the boat and the sky
The sky is on a steeper angle than the water
We see the flat earth. Pathagrams theory is enough to compute the curve we should see. But it is not there.
Say that triangle top angle were the center of the earth. B is the radius and a the distance. Thus C would be the radius plus the supposed curve.
When you do the math you confirm. Multiply 0.666 times the distance squared. That gives the curve you should see.
It works up to around 300 miles.

This is in feet. Use 8 instead of 0.666 for inches.

Square b the radius. Square a the distance. Add together. Take the square root and then subtract the radius and then multiply to get the feet of the curve.
Because it will give you the curve in miles.
Why would that not work on earth. It is still a triangle just a very big one.

Yes but the problem for globe earth people is we went to the exact same lake. Flat Earthers living near there and completely debunked the video and the globe earthers would not even respond. They knew they had been found out.
They also faked a video at Salton Sea. They used two helicopters to fake it and that was pointed out to them. Also the audio they had in their video they asked can you see us. The answer was sure we can see you. They responded no you can't.
The Governments make huge money based on this lie. They make out like God is fake based on the globe earth, we could have been created by aliens. Numerous reasons. Mostly it is about making us think we are tiny and meaningless.

Easier to sell that on a ball earth in the middle of nowhere. Much harder on a flat earth with a dome overhead. Then only a Creator is possible not evolution.
They have mostly worldwide power and they do not want to lose it.

Moon:round
Sun:round
Earth: frisbee
We also believe sun and moon flat. Sun is like a spotlight. Mars is round but some kind of light flickering.
So why would mars be round but not earth?
Also with the sun and moon thing I think that’s just personal preference
