Oh, so you keep kosher?
First of all, there is no prohibition against sea creatures that eat the dead
Only against things that swim that do not have scales and fins. But I’m not surprised you haven’t read the Bible
You know the sabbath is defined by sunset right?
So you’re calling all Israelites liars?
You also know that Satan is an angel in the old Hebrew tradition right? The prosecutor before the court of God?
These are the cool things you can learn when you base your worldview on knowledge and learning instead of on watching the matrix during a baptism
@Platinum Spark El Elyon can be interpreted to mean Nimrod. The Most High King. King of 70 Kings. Seems to only be used in passages where it could in reality be referring to Nimrod. The opinion of Rabbis should not be considered any better than the opinion of others. If they are exalted above that they make themselves into gods. Seems to me most Jews make these Rabbis into gods and superior to Yehovah and Moshe.
Go to <#564645027817717760> Choose the few you are most interested in. I suggest no more than 10. The ones you have the most interest in. The ones you might want people to speak to you about.
@Steve Angell that is an incredibly anti-semitic opinion and has no bearing on the discussion.
Could you please explain why it would be Anti Semitic? Because I do not trust Rabbis?
@Steve Angell the idea that “most Jews make these rabbis into gods” shows an incredible lack of understanding of Judaism and Christianity and is painting Jews with a broad brush
I am not Christian. I am Old Testament only.
I am confused by Jews who seem to dismiss what God said and instead use the Talmud and what it says.
It also seems to revolve around the assumption that most mentions of god use the term el Elyon, which they do not
No Yehovah is the vast majority. El Elyon is only used a few times.
The Talmud is a core part of Judaism
Adonai is the next most used.
“Jehova” is not used till the New Testament
I have heard Rabbis tell this story where the voice of Yehovah from Heaven is taken inferior to the judgement of the 70 Rabbis.
It’s funny you should bring that up
YHWH. Yehovah in 1100 or more ancient documents
That’s that the attestation if one person that they heard the voice of god is not as good as the word of 70 rabbis
I think most Jews say G_D or The Name. I forget the Hebrew for that. They say the Hebrew.
God is Adonai, hashed is “the name”
*hashem
Also when I say god I do not mean G_D. The lower case means like God not actually equal to God just someone putting someone in high esteem and they do not deserve it.
Lol
No.
Not in any actual religion
GOD is not some magical word, it’s a genetic term
What religion are you?
Hashem was what my brain refused to connect because of a brain injury over a year ago.
That makes sense
What religion are you
I really do not have one. My beliefs are in the Old Testament and what it actually says. I love Moshe Isaiah and Jeremiah. I forget their Hebrew names.
Those are literally their Hebrew names
That’s known as Karajite Jewish
I personally have great problems with the New Testament. Yet most Christians are good so I like them.
Soooo do you do animal sacrifice?
And keep kosher?
