you dont know my beliefs

2019-07-15 18:49:17 UTC

Because I saw Norfolk Harbor from 40 miles away. Saw numerous sail boats in the bay. All from top to bottom off a bridge just 20' above the water. High enough no waves blocked my vision. The curve should have been 1200 feet. That is a lot of missing curve.

@The Unknown Scout this is not helpful to public discourse. There is truth and fact and then this nonsense

2019-07-15 18:49:51 UTC

so what nonsense do you believe @Platinum Spark

2019-07-15 18:50:13 UTC

40 miles has 320 inches of curvature, or 26 feet

2019-07-15 18:50:17 UTC

I went to NASA and researched for a thousand hours. I saw fakery all over the place.

2019-07-15 18:50:21 UTC

So you should sill be able to see a bridge or a ship

2019-07-15 18:50:42 UTC

BS. 1200 feet is correct.

2019-07-15 18:50:45 UTC

@chad46 that the earth is round

2019-07-15 18:50:59 UTC

@Steve Angell no it isn’t. You just said .666 feet per mile right

2019-07-15 18:51:02 UTC

Are you saying the earth is 200,.000 miles across?

2019-07-15 18:51:14 UTC

You said 40 miles away

2019-07-15 18:51:20 UTC

Squared. Squared miles times miles.

2019-07-15 18:51:21 UTC

That’s 26.64 feet

2019-07-15 18:51:32 UTC

At .666 curve per mile

2019-07-15 18:51:33 UTC

40 miles has aa lot more drop than 40'

2019-07-15 18:51:41 UTC

Lol you don’t see square miles dude

2019-07-15 18:51:44 UTC

You see straight

2019-07-15 18:51:46 UTC

You are saying the earth is flat just going downhill with out squaring it.

2019-07-15 18:52:07 UTC

@Platinum Spark lol you dont understand maths

2019-07-15 18:52:10 UTC

How math works.

2019-07-15 18:52:29 UTC

I’m saying if you draw a straight line, that straight line has .798 inches of drop off per mile

2019-07-15 18:52:32 UTC

lol wow

2019-07-15 18:52:36 UTC

you know what the curve x^2 looks like

2019-07-15 18:52:43 UTC

This is incredible

2019-07-15 18:52:48 UTC

Ok, so here’s the thing

2019-07-15 18:52:52 UTC

That is perfect flatness going down hill a bit.

2019-07-15 18:53:02 UTC

its 8" per mile^2

2019-07-15 18:53:05 UTC

When you’re talking about curvature over a 2d surface, you talk about squared

2019-07-15 18:53:06 UTC

No

2019-07-15 18:53:10 UTC

so 40x40

2019-07-15 18:53:13 UTC

No

2019-07-15 18:53:18 UTC

Incorrect

2019-07-15 18:53:31 UTC

Draw a circle with a circle compass.

2019-07-15 18:53:44 UTC

2d.

2019-07-15 18:53:48 UTC

No, listen to me

2019-07-15 18:53:57 UTC
2019-07-15 18:54:00 UTC

When you are talking about it on a 2d surface

2019-07-15 18:54:03 UTC

You square it

2019-07-15 18:54:18 UTC

If you are talking about sighting a specific object from a specific point

2019-07-15 18:54:22 UTC

That is a direct line
