Of course it’s squared over the whole thing
Jesus
No that is about how far the circle around the globe would be. 8,000 miles is the diameter of the earth. Not exactly.
Lol who’s the flat earther now
I’m making no claims about the diameter of the earth
Now when you observed that ship
Where were your eyes?
Like I said I was standing on a bridge 20' above the water or so.
And how tall are you?
are you talking about the diameter or the radius, because if your talking about the radius, its approximately 3965 miles
You are deflecting. All I cared about is what the curve between me and the harbor would be. I could care less about some horizon point.
I saw no horizon point.
@Steve Angell your observation point is important here, you’re fudging by tens of miles
you can use a curvature calculator for that
ez
lol what do you mean you saw no horizon point?
lol
So you what, saw the edge of the earth?
ive never heard that before “no horzon point”
Yeah this is interesting
a horizon
I suspect he did see a horizon, but what is he saying?
Ok he died apparently lol
if there was no horizon, theres no flat earth or round earth
also i saw an interesting video that im sure you guys would love to try as its very easy to do
its really cool https://youtu.be/YaPa4esJJx4
Heh cool
There are a couple of cool at home experiments you can do
ill check it out
flat earthers claim you cant prove the earth with 2 sticks but wrong you can
@eletrick33 has a huge point
thancc
np mate
also dont forget how norway has like 3 monthsday that the flat earth model fails to prove
@eletrick33 There is a globe earth calculator for the curve. They add in a mid point to minimize the curve. They call it a horizon point. Just a way of deflecting with math because they understand no one sees their curvature they claim.
...
hmm
@Steve Angell no. The horizon point is the tip of the curve
So say their Horizon point is 10 miles away. That eliminates a whole lot of the curve.
That is, the point at which your observation point can’t see past
