so uh
why do you think the earth is flat
Because I can. It's my prerogative
welp
same here
yeah I'll wait for a regulator or something
@Citizen Z people are blocking me from playing music
just do it in the right channel mate
Mmkay

What do you need
Oh god wrong channel
@mellowchromatic post thid type of stuff in <#484514023698726912> <#484515816625274891> or <#484524786081333265>
how does the weather work? why is there wind?
Convection basically. The only type of weather that has been seen to not involve convection is radiation fog. Everything else seems to have some form of convection as a source of energy
**(note) Convection is basically that hot air rises because its less dense for those people who dont know
Are the people here in the "the sun is a projection" crowd or the "sun is much smaller and much closer" crowd?
Both sometimes
I’ve heard both
correct me if I'm wrong here but if we are actually surrounded by an ice wall wouldn't we just be able to fly over it?
Also I know this is off topic but when I clicked on mineyful I saw a role saying "Nukes are real" does this mean there are people who believe nukes aren't real?
Yes, we would be able to fly over it
To answer your question
But what do flat earthers propose lies beyond the ice wall?
I guess, uh, nothing
well thats a little anti-cliamtic
Also on the topic of fake nukes if anyone believes that I'd love to hear your reasoning on it. If so please @ me
Fly from Australia to the southern tip of argentina
You will get there in like 5 hours
If earth was flat, this would take 40-50 hours
why would it take so long?
Because flat earthers believe the world is splayed out from the north pole
See how Argentina and Australia are on opposite ends?
So if flat earth was true, flying from one to the other would require you to fly over most of earth
But in reality you just fly right over Antarctica and get there in a few hours
where did you get 40-50 hours from?
Just an educated guess
Should be clear that whatever amount of time it takes to actually make that flight wouldn't be possible on a flat earth
@the21cat So you're saying hot air rises and causes the wind?
also, since it's rising, it's getting closer to the sun (source of heat), so why does it cool down?
