Like most drugs, people get to a point where they’re not even doing it to get high anymore. They do it so their body stops feeling pain from withdrawal symptoms.

Methamphetamine of course is worse. But amphetamine can easily be bad when a person needs to keep taking more when their body builds a tolerance.
