so, I am still waiting for you to prove earth is flat, not some stupid stuff about what certain people though

2019-05-20 18:02:17 UTC

Only a handful of greeks allegedly theorized it was a globe. The entirety of their civilization, however, had a flat cosmology.

2019-05-20 18:02:35 UTC

@Phantorang not my burden.

2019-05-20 18:03:50 UTC

@Phantorang Ever since you've been here you haven't provided one piece of proof for the globe earth

2019-05-20 18:03:53 UTC

@F1SH#9466 No, nobody truly believes it, unfortunately we measure it that way, f-l-a-t, so until you can propose to me a mechanism to see farther than 1000km with infra red which has the LEAST amount of refractive angle index, Earth does indeed appear to be flat.

2019-05-20 18:03:54 UTC

You are misleading us, this is what wikipedia says about the greek: The earliest reliably documented mention of the spherical Earth concept dates from around the 6th century BC when it appeared in ancient Greek philosophy,[1][2] but remained a matter of speculation until the 3rd century BC, when Hellenistic astronomy established the spherical shape of the Earth as a physical given and calculated Earth's circumference

2019-05-20 18:04:41 UTC

I am here to learn about the flat earth, I really want to believe, but I don't get anywhere if nobody can provide me any evidence

2019-05-20 18:05:27 UTC

You don't seem that open-minded to the idea of reality

2019-05-20 18:05:48 UTC

Flat earth means letting go of everything you've ever known about the shape of the earth

2019-05-20 18:06:05 UTC

There is a lot of proof out here you just need to learn how to take it in

2019-05-20 18:06:16 UTC

I saw something about that in a video, I don't remember that guys name though

2019-05-20 18:06:18 UTC

None of us here became a flat earther in a night

I guess its a to late to ask for that now, it just seems like people are more interested in making arguements than actually present their beliefs

2019-05-20 18:07:36 UTC

Incorrect. Greek Cosmology was flat. Wiki tells you about the greek philosophers that theorized it was a globe. But this is a handful, at best.

2019-05-20 18:07:36 UTC

Their cosmology was always flat

2019-05-20 18:07:40 UTC

Ask your questions

2019-05-20 18:08:02 UTC

so not everybody has always believe earth is flat, thats the point

2019-05-20 18:08:13 UTC

Who said they do?

2019-05-20 18:08:58 UTC

right, so I think I am going to leave this to you, so you can feel free to discuss without all this noise

2019-05-20 18:09:14 UTC

The majority, which their general civilization agreed with, had a flat cosmology and you cannot refute that.

2019-05-20 18:09:28 UTC

no, I can't

2019-05-20 18:09:59 UTC

so despite our differences, I hope you will enjoy the rest of the evening, good night

2019-05-20 18:10:12 UTC

You, as well.

2019-05-20 18:11:49 UTC

Tgere is so much drama, lets go to the Globe theatre

2019-05-20 18:11:52 UTC

There

2019-05-20 18:11:55 UTC

About that acceleration thing, it can easily be explained with Dielectric Voidance and Dielectric Acceleration. Dielectric Voidance is the direction and Dielectric Acceleration is the attraction.

2019-05-20 18:12:21 UTC

That's where you're wrong kiddo

@That Guy Call me kiddo again and you're banned.

2019-05-20 18:12:51 UTC

Science is cool

2019-05-20 18:13:01 UTC

I didn't insult you, but I very easily can.

2019-05-20 18:13:26 UTC
2019-05-20 18:13:31 UTC

You claim I'm wrong, but haven't looked at the info.

2019-05-20 18:13:43 UTC

@🍄The Mad Philosopher🍄 you are aware you require a force to fall right?

2019-05-20 18:13:46 UTC

Bruh I study physics

2019-05-20 18:13:47 UTC

does that mean the earth is a cylinder

2019-05-20 18:14:04 UTC

@Glasses You need to prove gravity is a force, before anything.
