damn thats cool

2019-05-22 04:15:03 UTC

I already explained that with the perspective ramp.

2019-05-22 04:15:29 UTC

On a ball of 24,901 miles in circumference, we shouldn’t see the Sears tower, AT ALL.

2019-05-22 04:15:59 UTC

On a flat surface, we see objects disappearing bottom first.

2019-05-22 04:16:35 UTC

heres a close up of a basketball https://i.redd.it/znl7nrd8u8311.jpg

2019-05-22 04:16:51 UTC

i guess basketballs are flat now

2019-05-22 04:17:07 UTC

Uhhh what does the Sears tower have to do with this? Also I believe you mean the Willis tower.

2019-05-22 04:18:08 UTC

the roundness of a basketball must be some kind of illusion caused by perspective and mirages.

2019-05-22 04:18:15 UTC

The CN tower. My mistake.

2019-05-22 04:19:31 UTC

And for some reason you guys don’t realize that ball has a measurable curve?

2019-05-22 04:20:05 UTC

im applying flat earth logic to a basketball if that makes sense

2019-05-22 04:20:27 UTC

We could in fact, measure it, and observe it once we elevate the camera. The earth is said to have curvature. But we never see it upon elevation. And we should, given it’s size.

2019-05-22 04:21:30 UTC

i mean we do see it upon elevation but you guys just refuse it

2019-05-22 04:22:06 UTC

I didn’t refuse it for 30 years. I do now, because I know it’s bullshit. Not merely believe, or theorize. It’s a knowing.

2019-05-22 04:23:41 UTC
2019-05-22 04:23:54 UTC

Since many of us know it’s bullshit. We simply make fun of it now. Knowing mainstream pseudoscience can’t prove their outlandish claims. And they don’t.

now youre just denying the picture i just sent you @Derek Nelson like it literally proves the earth has a curve

2019-05-22 04:27:26 UTC

Your picture is from a plane roughly at 30,000 feet, yes?

2019-05-22 04:27:51 UTC

I already know it is.

2019-05-22 04:28:21 UTC

Well. Felix Baumgartner jumped from 128,000 feet. And it showed a ton of curve.

2019-05-22 04:28:31 UTC

Here’s what Neil DeGrasse Tyson had to say.

2019-05-22 04:28:35 UTC

idk the height so i wont make any claims

2019-05-22 04:30:07 UTC

and heres Neil talking about the absurdity of flat earth https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLPPE3_DVCw

2019-05-22 04:30:10 UTC

Felix’s jump was over 4x the height of that airplane.

2019-05-22 04:30:22 UTC

That picture is in fact, fake.

2019-05-22 04:32:01 UTC

Lol

2019-05-22 04:33:36 UTC

how high is that guy hes like 10 feet off the ground

2019-05-22 04:34:21 UTC

It’s above mountains.

2019-05-22 04:35:17 UTC

Let’s stay on planes for a bit.

2019-05-22 04:35:22 UTC

Here’s a video from an airplane where the gentleman uses a Nikon P900 camera with an infrared lens attached to view through the atmosphere. https://youtu.be/hobnOTKIjWE

2019-05-22 04:36:22 UTC

No he isn’t. I live in Minnesota. He in fact saw the Mississippi, Lake Superior, and further north, Hudson Bay. Over 1,200 miles.

2019-05-22 04:37:30 UTC

He only claims 1,200 because he’s actually scared to say just how far he saw. He actually saw 1,700.

2019-05-22 04:37:44 UTC

hey i think the earth is a cube

2019-05-22 04:37:47 UTC

Do Minnesota have any attraction?
