Aren't beaches the edge of the container for large bodies of water?
EXACTLY
And the water remains flat, passed the beach.
It does not curve.
You cannot replicate water curving around anything. It must be contained.
We know it isn't completely, though... because the tides raise and lower the height of the water.

What a hot take
Using tides is like me filling a bathtub being filled with water, and saying, “look, the water isn’t completely Level.” You’re using a scenario where the water is in motion.
There was a thingy saying I was pinged
So, in one part of the world, the water is higher than another. Not completely flat.
Maybe it was from an hour ago
@Drewski4343 i love you
Once you shut the water off, the water finds it’s goddamn Level.
No, you'd use *waves* to simulate bathtub water
Higher and lower water levels is not water grasping the outside of a ball.
@eletrick33 <3
Literally nothing you can do to water will make it curve around and stick to the exterior of an object.
Unless you used another object to hold it. I know someone is trying to find a loophole to my specific usage of words.
That's true, unless the object is large enough to curve the water's world line.
Which cannot be replicated
You're right, it's not.
It's 29°C outside today! 😎
