“But ballers be like, good enough.”

2019-06-07 20:24:41 UTC

@Derek Nelson just because you can't see the curve with the naked eye, does not mean it's not curved

2019-06-07 20:24:59 UTC

"but flat earthers be like, it looks flat so it MUST be flat"

2019-06-07 20:25:13 UTC

We are absolutely supposed to observe curve with a 24,901 mile circumference ball.

2019-06-07 20:25:16 UTC

Period.

2019-06-07 20:25:25 UTC

Wha?

2019-06-07 20:25:31 UTC

you can't observe it with your naked eye, Derek

2019-06-07 20:25:41 UTC

you can observe it, just not with simple human perception

2019-06-07 20:25:57 UTC

if you can't observe it, how do you determine it is spherical?

2019-06-07 20:26:31 UTC

well, you can measure the distance, and even observe other things as they go into the distance

2019-06-07 20:26:31 UTC

the earth isn't flat it's FaT

such as the boat, sinking bottom first as it goes over the horizon

2019-06-07 20:26:48 UTC

ahh the boat

I like how that photo literally shows the boat sinking bottom first

2019-06-07 20:27:24 UTC

nice one, derek

2019-06-07 20:27:28 UTC

Ships disappear bottom first before they even reach the horizon..

2019-06-07 20:27:34 UTC

and the horizon line is wrong

2019-06-07 20:27:45 UTC

No. Sorry.

2019-06-07 20:27:55 UTC

yes. the horizon line should rest on top of the water

not in the air

2019-06-07 20:28:16 UTC

Those islands are disappearing over the curve!

2019-06-07 20:28:43 UTC

@Derek Nelson that mountain is high enough to beat the curve to still see it. In that photo, I can literally see the bottom disappearing

2019-06-07 20:29:34 UTC

To beat the curve to still see it? On different days of weather, you can see the islands disappearing bottom first from the same distance. You’re being nonsensical.

2019-06-07 20:29:41 UTC

I still dont get this.

2019-06-07 20:30:01 UTC

Is it round or flat?

2019-06-07 20:30:07 UTC

Flat.
