So on days when water looks convex, you get to ignore that, Gandalf?

2019-06-18 23:21:04 UTC

I never see the shoreline. Pictures do not show it just a blur.

2019-06-18 23:21:27 UTC

That’s convenient.

2019-06-18 23:21:27 UTC

if you honestly dont believe earth is round in 2019 you are special

2019-06-18 23:21:41 UTC

Lol, some of you guys look familiar.

2019-06-18 23:21:41 UTC

I know what fata morgana is Derek, as well as atmospheric compression, so if you're trying to insinuate that I just discredit such things I assure you I do not. Perhaps if you were more open minded you would understand.

2019-06-18 23:21:50 UTC

@Derek Nelson have you watched a nasa video before?

2019-06-18 23:21:54 UTC

There are millions who see it as flat.

2019-06-18 23:22:05 UTC

You will always SEE it as flat.

2019-06-18 23:22:11 UTC

That's why that video is important.

2019-06-18 23:22:34 UTC

there are also tens of millions who are autistic

2019-06-18 23:22:42 UTC

How can a boat be below the opposiote shoreline if the water is flat?

Water is always in a perpetual state to find and maintain it’s level.

2019-06-18 23:23:05 UTC

@Steve Angell This is why you will always see state

2019-06-18 23:23:25 UTC

Autistic. Truth seeker. Often the two go together. Autistic people are unlikely to conform just because someone says something.

2019-06-18 23:23:26 UTC

The water level rises and falls throughout different times of the year. And when it has finally reached it’s level, is when it’s flat.

2019-06-18 23:23:29 UTC

No, water is always in a perpetual state to seek the path of least resistance, as proven with diepolar magnetics

2019-06-18 23:23:47 UTC

Which is why the water level rises and falls

2019-06-18 23:23:55 UTC

Dielectricity.

2019-06-18 23:24:04 UTC

There are 2 forms of magnatism.

2019-06-18 23:24:25 UTC

Magnetic, and diemagnetic.

2019-06-18 23:24:33 UTC

The two combine to form electricity.

2019-06-18 23:24:59 UTC

I'm going to head over to my neighbors now, you guys have a great night.

2019-06-18 23:25:01 UTC

If it were actually forming a concave surface. Why don’t we see entirely level water surfaces, reflecting a shrunken sky above it?

2019-06-18 23:25:11 UTC

We never do.

2019-06-18 23:25:13 UTC

You too.

2019-06-18 23:25:14 UTC

@Steve Angell It was great meeting you.

2019-06-18 23:25:22 UTC

Thank you.

2019-06-18 23:25:32 UTC

@Derek Nelson Because light bends silly. Sheeple will tell you.

2019-06-18 23:25:40 UTC

You guys take it easy.

2019-06-18 23:25:42 UTC

peace.

2019-06-18 23:25:57 UTC

2019-06-18 23:26:00 UTC

Gnite

2019-06-18 23:26:27 UTC

im curious to see if this always happens, can you always see water above the boat no matter were you do this? I’m open to anything really, I’d like to hear what people in the other discord have to say

2019-06-18 23:26:32 UTC

Light expands the shape of the sky above a concave surface to make it look absolutely flat?

2019-06-18 23:26:39 UTC

No.

2019-06-18 23:26:49 UTC

@Derek Nelson I have seen numerous photos of the sky reflected off the water or frozen ice on a lake. Beautiful pictures.

2019-06-18 23:27:30 UTC

You have to find a day with very calm water.

2019-06-18 23:28:10 UTC

Just invert the curve here. You’re saying light would make the same reflection as a flat surface would on a concave object.
