The truth is always important
the math is right there for everyone to see. you can deny it for your friends, who actually don’t know the math, so you can save face, but saying “we got the math wrong” is a ridiculous copout
It's always about the math with globe believers. Two things I hear far too often are:
*"Math is reality"*
And
*"Math is objectively accurate. You can't say 2+2=5"*
Well, actually you can. You're just using linear math with predetermined values to get 4 instead of 5.
