The NY Government negotiated an agreement. Then this stupid AOC came in and put on political pressure hijacking the deal that had been made. Everyone went against her when they saw the damage this nut job had caused. She had very little support at that point.
Amazon is still in New York safely free of the district AOC represents.

AOC destroyed thousands of jobs by lying about what the deal said. She was so stupid she thought that money NY would receive from Amazon building this facility there was somehow money up for grabs. She lyingly stated that NY was giving Amazon money when reality was Amazon was enriching NY and receiving some of that money back. She is a total idiot.
