When it comes to Catholic history it seems possible that people that were excommunicated could be hunted down without much reprocution from society.
Or simply went into exile
The thing is if they did go into exile nobody would know that they were hunted

I believe truth is played out in movies for the general public to think its a fairy tale.
Hello lam how are you doing
Looks cool but makes no sense
Wouldn't displacement spill all the water out
water is constantly running of the side
@Hamburger Guy order 66 and the hunt for jedi in star wars is symbolic for the catholic inquisition when they hunted down the "heretical" gnostics, which sent many proto-christians into exile; rome basically representing the transformation from republic to empire
Cool
The republic was corrupt itself
yeah, prequel-era jedi acted as a shadow government with a council of "enlightened" individuals (illuminati)
biggest fear being him declaring war with iran so that he remains in office long enough to enact martial law (order 66)
I meant the Roman republic but ok
Iran would be Afghanistan times 10
I wrote a Quora answer on this let me find it
Cant find it but either way I'm in agreement
yeah, US has been having same problems as Rome unironically, like lead in the drinking water. I think Trump brought back a lot of troops in preparation for Iranian deployment too
Politicians and lawyers are the Catholic priests of today, having a monopoly on information through their jargon
evolution of power: church→state→big business
information being practically digital oil for corporate overlords
I agree with you on data being 'digital oil'
Eh
not with your understanding of power though
Judt a nitpick but
Nvm
there is nothing ethical about selling people's data
but it seems to be the primary currency online
I worked in 'big data' and it's hard to look back and think it was good in any way
@RidleyChozo 5G would make our society technocratic, and all appliances hooked up to that grid would keep track of usage/stats/data
I wonder if future generations won't be as threatened with digital privacy
literally what they were saying they wanted to do
