same thing

2019-07-14 18:55:40 UTC

Many Christian Churches no longer push baptism all that much if at all anymore. It is OK with many but they do not really suggest it all that much.

2019-07-14 18:55:41 UTC

yeshiva was probly worse

2019-07-14 18:55:46 UTC

i remember going to jew school

2019-07-14 18:55:49 UTC

can't you baptize yourself

2019-07-14 18:56:03 UTC

even Jesus needed someone else to baptize him

2019-07-14 18:56:18 UTC

you can ask just about anyone

2019-07-14 18:56:40 UTC

Baptism is needed for salvation

2019-07-14 18:56:57 UTC

is there something special about the water

2019-07-14 18:56:57 UTC

Probably shouldn’t ask me tho
I am not going to be a big help lol

2019-07-14 18:57:01 UTC

each time I went in the church it was always cold

2019-07-14 18:57:02 UTC

it

2019-07-14 18:57:15 UTC

Well Christians say it came from ritual cleansing the Jews did. They always did it themselves. I see no valid reason it could not be done every time you shower or bathe.

2019-07-14 18:57:16 UTC

s about the faith you have while being submerged, it's entering into a covenant

2019-07-14 18:57:25 UTC

you can use any water from what i can tell

2019-07-14 18:57:40 UTC

doesn't holy water just need blessings from the pastor

2019-07-14 18:57:44 UTC

there's nothing special about it right

2019-07-14 18:57:57 UTC

steve, stop, you only get baptized once willingly, then you are born again

2019-07-14 18:58:06 UTC

dont add extra stuff

2019-07-14 18:58:19 UTC

churches are lying mineyful

2019-07-14 18:58:28 UTC

you can use lake water, ocean water, abth water

2019-07-14 18:58:32 UTC

*bath

2019-07-14 18:58:39 UTC

just be fully submerged

2019-07-14 18:58:49 UTC

There are Christian Churches that do it over and over. Also if it comes from what they claim. Then the Jews did it over and over. Often several times a week if not daily.

2019-07-14 18:59:09 UTC

the jews were in old covenant and therefore needed to continually cleanse to go to the temple

2019-07-14 18:59:43 UTC

rather, tabernacle

2019-07-14 18:59:47 UTC

Why do some Christian Churches, if not almost all, do the sacrament. Two ways of doing the same thing.

2019-07-14 19:00:22 UTC

i don't trust the eucharist

2019-07-14 19:00:32 UTC

they say it is literally flesh and blood

2019-07-14 19:00:43 UTC

If you shower or bathe and ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins. It is impossible for me to believe Jesus would not do that.

2019-07-14 19:00:52 UTC

the bread is symbolic of Jesus teachings and the wine is the new convenant which is SYMBOLIZED by his body and blood

2019-07-14 19:01:03 UTC

Let my sins go out with the water.

2019-07-14 19:01:23 UTC

if you need to keep asking to be forgiven you need to stop sinning

2019-07-14 19:01:25 UTC

🤔

2019-07-14 19:02:02 UTC

But we all sin. We all come short of the Glory of God. I have never known or heard of anyone becoming perfect.

2019-07-14 19:02:38 UTC

Jesus.

2019-07-14 19:02:38 UTC

We can become a whole lot better and most who love God do so. That is what we should try for.

2019-07-14 19:02:46 UTC

Jesus is our example

2019-07-14 19:03:03 UTC

he did no sin

2019-07-14 19:03:12 UTC

Yes but a God doing something does not count. It does not mean anyone else could do that.
