Like when you're in a plane accelerating vs cruising

2019-07-26 04:48:11 UTC

As for why we cannot feel it, there’s a simple explanation for it!

2019-07-26 04:48:20 UTC

Have you ever been in a revolving restaurant?

2019-07-26 04:48:32 UTC

The earth doesnt rotate. Becuz it is not a sphere

2019-07-26 04:48:32 UTC

You can only feel acceleration

2019-07-26 04:48:36 UTC

I have, several times. In Sydney tower, specifically.

2019-07-26 04:48:42 UTC

@NickC64 not its not, its elliptical, which means we slow down, and speed up. Also its a constant turn, if u were in a car that keeps turning sideways, and slows down and speed up, you feel that

2019-07-26 04:48:46 UTC

It is flat and the floor of the universe

2019-07-26 04:49:07 UTC

And we don't slow down or speed up instantly

2019-07-26 04:49:15 UTC

We dont move

2019-07-26 04:49:17 UTC

Our human senses are too dull to pick that up

2019-07-26 04:49:25 UTC

The heavens move around us

2019-07-26 04:49:29 UTC

also at the equator the earth spins faster, if u are the north pole u are standing still, while at the equator u are spinning fast, yet no difference at all

2019-07-26 04:49:40 UTC

It moves at a constant pace, and at a *slow* enough pace, which is why we cannot feel it. We are absolutely tiny compared to the surface, as well.

2019-07-26 04:49:42 UTC

Dude

2019-07-26 04:49:48 UTC

You can only feel acceleration

2019-07-26 04:49:55 UTC

How many times do I have to say that lol

2019-07-26 04:50:00 UTC

Think about it like this

2019-07-26 04:50:00 UTC

You guys are totally lost. Pity

2019-07-26 04:50:09 UTC

Have you ever been in a car, or train?

2019-07-26 04:50:15 UTC

2019-07-26 04:50:24 UTC

floris, thats exactly how im thinking

2019-07-26 04:50:34 UTC

Once they start cruising, you’ll notice you cannot feel the push against you.

2019-07-26 04:50:47 UTC

NickC64#4200 LANGUAGE!!!

2019-07-26 04:50:47 UTC

And its completely different cause earth is not in contact with any surface so its smoother

2019-07-26 04:50:53 UTC

Once you hit a completely constant speed, you cannot feel the force of wind and such push against you

2019-07-26 04:50:57 UTC

You EEeedeeot Stimpy

2019-07-26 04:51:00 UTC

Why did you keep giving crappy examples

2019-07-26 04:51:23 UTC

@floris this guy's saying everything in my mind

2019-07-26 04:51:36 UTC

Yeah

2019-07-26 04:51:41 UTC

He is right in my opinion

2019-07-26 04:51:43 UTC

Ok. Now i know you guys are like 8thgrade or freshman HS

2019-07-26 04:51:50 UTC

That was funny

2019-07-26 04:51:57 UTC

I bet your 4 then

2019-07-26 04:52:02 UTC

Why would you make an assumption like that

2019-07-26 04:52:06 UTC

That would make sense

2019-07-26 04:52:06 UTC

@floris i can absolutely feel the motion on a train, no matter how constant

2019-07-26 04:52:14 UTC

Of course

2019-07-26 04:52:21 UTC

Since you have never learned about gravity

2019-07-26 04:52:24 UTC

On the contrary, that’s because a train cannot hit a perfect speed.

2019-07-26 04:52:24 UTC
