Feel bad for mothers who read this

Actually if theyre not using live viruses, and they can make sure they dont get sick from other diseases, vaccinating pregnant women should be perfectly ok. Also what they are saying in the article is entirely correct. The antibodies will pass on and provide help against potential diseases to the child.

A live virus vaccine would probably be a bad idea though

The vaccines are pretty effective (with the exception being the flu vaccine which is like 10-30% effective usually)
