Oh, I misunderstood, but what I'm saying is that gravity is way too high level, you don't need to prove gravity, you only need to use simple maths, simple observations etc...
One of the premises of the flat Earth theory is that gravity doesn't exist
And if they just say it doesn't exist without saying why we can't really explain it exists now can we?
Ok but, even with gravity being the main reason GE works, gravity doesn't explain why star maps in the north and south are different. Gravity doesn't explain seasons and time zones and day/night cycles etc
>gravity doesn't magically change the way everything else works, it just replaces it by something that enables us to understand why things fall towards the earth. It doesn't mean the earth magically becomes flat since we have many other ways to prove it's a globe
You need to prove gravity in order for globe earth to exist.
actually, no, you just need to look at the sky
you need gravity to understand why it's a globe and why things don't fall off it.
If you can prove gravity, globe earth would be factual and flat earth wouldn't work.
Flat earth doesn't work, just look at the sun and moon
That doesn't prove gravity
Who care about gravity? You can't match observations from a flat plane to observations in real life.
Red herring lol
nope, your model can't explain things, mine can, mine is more accurate.
Red herring once again, every time you lose you switch to another subject. Aren't you tired of it?
I haven't changed subject yet, my whole point is that even if gravity can be disproven, whatever replaces it, will also take into consideration that the earth is a globe since gravity is not the only way to prove the earth is a globe.
Flat earth could work with gravity people are just way too lazy ti figure it out
Flat earth can't work with gravity.......
It can
why is the sun in the sky on a flat earth?
Where is the center of gravity on a flat earth?
why has no one ever crashed into that pole?
Depends on how its mass is spread out
>haven't changed subject yet, my whole point is that even if gravity can be disproven, whatever replaces it, will also take into consideration that the earth is a globe since gravity is not the only way to prove the earth is a globe.
False, you need gravity in order for globe earth to work. Water always its seek level
Because noone has ever flown to the sun
A pole to the top of the dome
There are several other problems with flat earth maybe
But it could still coincide with gravity
True, but he was discussing that you don't need gravity in order for a globe earth to exist
False, you don't need gravity for a globe earth, we currently have a theory and it's called gravity, replacing it with another theory doesn't change the shape of the earth, therefore, the new theory will still predict that water will stick to the globe. since, again, there are other ways to prove a globe, you won't make any other shape work with the next theory.
You're assuming globe earth already exists.
yeah from all the other proofs
You need gravity for it to exists.
no, you need something acting as a force keeping matter together
Which is gravity
Yeah but not to prove its a globe
yes, right now, it's called gravity, but we can call it "matter likes other matter and wants to stick to it"
You can prove a globe in many ways, but you would still need gravity for it in order to work.
@Akhanyatin Again, you're assuming globe earth already exists and mass already attracts mass.
you can prove a globe in many ways, therefore, any of these ways is enough to prove that the earth is a globe
Yes but if we prove a globe; we are not necessarily assuming gravity
