I wonder how flat earth was created. I’m actually curious, not roasting or anything.

In order, what do we observe?
1) the ground
2) water
3) the sun
4) the moon / stars

Technically, the individual observation of each of these are independent.
If we were to blow up the earth, the sun and moon and stars would still be there. If we were to blow up everything but the earth, the earth would still be there. If we were to remove all the water from earth, everything would still be there

My point is really that if you careful with selecting the videos you will find a consistent horizon curve at high elevations

The FOV needs to be high, but not too high such that it can distort the horizon
