And that goes around the south pole west to east, requires right turns to stay on course

2019-08-18 23:03:51 UTC

It's a fair question

2019-08-18 23:04:00 UTC

An ice wall would require a left turn

2019-08-18 23:04:30 UTC

They usually post pictures of these large glaciers

2019-08-18 23:04:44 UTC

And say it's the wall, but who took them??

2019-08-18 23:04:58 UTC

You can even take a telescope and stay within safe distance even if it is highly guarded

2019-08-18 23:05:10 UTC

Literally no excuses

2019-08-18 23:05:47 UTC

@Citizen Z where'd you go?

2019-08-18 23:07:02 UTC

@MrGiggles I also like showing they have no concept of scientific principles such as perspective and laws of motion

2019-08-18 23:07:50 UTC

I.e., why does the sun disappear

2019-08-18 23:08:03 UTC

If it's perspective, how do I see stars at the horizon

2019-08-18 23:08:10 UTC

The sun disappears by perspective by disappearing below the horizon but an aircraft can disappear by becoming too small to see...
You cannot have it both ways. Perspective doesn't have a special rule for the sun

2019-08-18 23:08:28 UTC

Same with the moon

2019-08-18 23:08:36 UTC

Yes

2019-08-18 23:08:57 UTC

One thing is constant though...

2019-08-18 23:09:11 UTC

They forget seeing these contradictions immediately

2019-08-18 23:09:19 UTC

Then repeat the same script the next day

2019-08-18 23:09:27 UTC

Groundhog day....

2019-08-18 23:10:04 UTC

Oh god yeah they do that

2019-08-18 23:10:17 UTC

It's a defense mechanism

2019-08-18 23:10:48 UTC

We're dealing with people who say things like "if the earth moves, we would feel it"

2019-08-18 23:10:49 UTC

They need to hold on to the flat Earth idea, to convince themselves that they're not the inadequate ones that failed math and science

2019-08-18 23:11:04 UTC

Even though you can be in a car or plane ride and not feel the speed at all

2019-08-18 23:11:24 UTC

True, a basic misunderstanding

2019-08-18 23:11:48 UTC

But that would require them admitting a mistake

2019-08-18 23:12:05 UTC

True, they wish to believe they have special knowledge. It bolsters their self esteem. Sad.

2019-08-18 23:12:10 UTC

This stems from a reaction of offset blame for a shortcoming

2019-08-18 23:12:23 UTC

That's the rooot, self esteem

2019-08-18 23:12:35 UTC

So insulting them really doesn't help to be honest

2019-08-18 23:12:53 UTC

But using their logic to illustrate their error doesn't work either

2019-08-18 23:13:02 UTC

There's a mental block that insurmountable

2019-08-18 23:13:19 UTC

For sure

2019-08-18 23:14:11 UTC

I know it's an emotional attachment for many of them. I've seen them say that the heliocentric model makes them feel insignificant because it says we are just a tiny speck

2019-08-18 23:14:27 UTC

And flat earth makes them feel special

2019-08-18 23:16:19 UTC

I got BM Furball to ask Nathan Roberts in the interview why he believes the bible says the earth is flat despite the countless Christians who disagree

2019-08-18 23:16:45 UTC

I asked him to ask that in a comment before the video went live and Nathan admitted it's an interpretation

2019-08-18 23:19:19 UTC

You on any other Fe discords?

2019-08-18 23:21:12 UTC

Not anymore. Was on fe 24/7 for a little while. They banned me lol. They aren't looking for an actual debate

2019-08-18 23:24:03 UTC

Ya those guys are particularly wimpy

2019-08-18 23:24:13 UTC

Disagree? Bannnnn

2019-08-18 23:36:21 UTC

Indeed
