if the earth is flat then what happened to curiousity, cassini, basically all the rockets that were sent up into space
did they come back crashing down?
Idk
Maybe once they reach a certain point they are loaded in another level
Aka "space"
how was the flat earth made
was it just a frisbee that came into existence
with a yellow and gray golf ball
These are question that flat earthers typically ignore.
I want them answered
I wouldn’t expect to find them here. They’ll probably just tell you those rockets just crashed into the ocean and were recovered.
god created fe will be the most common awnser @Emperor Crap
Can you give me a bible verse of god creating a flat earth
No
I can only give their common awsners
I cant actually explain them
if you can’t explain it then why do you believe it?
Im pretty sure the bible reference is very vague. I don’t recall any text that outright calls it flat
aristotle ffs
this dude was around during ancient greek times and he knew the earth was flat
“Do your own research” is probably what they’ll say.
lmao yeah
why can’t you give me the research you did then? xd
I dont believe it
Im just here to help yall find some awnsers when no one wants to awnser
Flat-Earth theorists marshal a number of biblical passages to defend their assertion (e.g., Joshua 10:12-13; 1 Chronicles 16:30; Psalm 93:1; 96:10; 104:5).
One notices instantly that almost every passage cited in favor of the flat-Earth position occurs in a poetic context. To be responsible readers of the Bible, we must respect the genre of literature we are reading. Poetry is to be read differently than prose; it is more expressive, emotional, and metaphorical.
In fact, taking biblical poetry literally would, in some cases, pervert clear scriptural teaching elsewhere, leading to the belief that there are many gods instead of one God (Exodus 15:11; Psalm 86:8), that humans are really gods (Psalm 82:6), that thunder is the voice of God (2 Samuel 22:14), that God slays sea monsters (Psalm 74:12-14), and that God has wings (Psalm 61:4).
Obviously, these passages cannot be understood for what they literally say.
There are atheist flat earthers, though. Not so much on this server, but I've encountered many on other servers.
Hello
hello
Do you believe in the flat earth too?
no
I believe that the earth is flat
ok
how come
Why don't you?
Well, if you look at the other planets they're round
Well, all the ones in our solar system
And the earth used to be round to yeah
But the trouble is life can't exist on a globe, as gravity will pull it into the centre and destroy it
