but also what u look into also depends on interests and already held convictions

but if u beliefe that homeopathie works from personal experience (placebo effect) then u can be convinced there is something wrong with medicine and u would be convinced for bad reasons which have to be pointed out to u

also u need to be clever enough to really understand it

we tend to give credence to what we read first but it also depends on already held beliefs

if u already know a lot of science the books have different impact on u

(parents + religion) is a good example

at that point its basically ur parents who decide for u tho
