It's just that, I don't get how we're unable to see a massive light source float on the other side of the flat earth when we're experiencing night time and the other side is experiencing day time

Even with that model you would see the sun from any part of the world, and also the moon and sun are visibly not always visible together. And light doesn't work like that.

Also eclipses are impossible with that model
