ofc that is me generalizing, but it's been true for most of the arguments where someone argued for that stance
i cant generalize but you can
ok
wdym
when did I say you can't generalize?
you were using an analogy as a part of your argument
if my generalization is wrong, feel free to call me out for it
but my generalization wasn't a part of my main argument
How have you only have positive experiences with transgender people. The last LGBTQ friend group I had tried to convince me I was transgender over the course of 7 months.
There was no analogy. I just said that every trans person I've met was toxic as fuck
Most of them, for me.
fuck
am i using the wrong word
Ive found to realize that most real transgender people prefer not to flaunt their title around. They just wanna live their life. Thats the point of being transgender afterall, to be seen as the other gender exclusively.
So doesn't that mean they want to flaunt their title around? By trying to be another gender?
The title of being transgender
> There was no analogy. I just said that every trans person I've met was toxic as fuck
@HyooNoot what i mean is your personal experience with trans people depends heavily on your location, social circles, etc
and you can't apply it to all grans people
Grans rights
Oop
Many transgender people ive met don't brag about it so much and doesn't make it their personality
> Many transgender people ive met brag about it so much and basically make it their personality
@Kriskris well it is apart of their identity
Tru
But if they brag about it then it's annoying lol
I mean good for u but chill
I don't go around bragging that I'm bi lol
If someone wanted to be transgender, why would they tell people they are biologically not the gender they want to be?
@Kriskris because they want to talk about their struggles with you maybe
> If someone wanted to be transgender, why would they tell people they are biologically not the gender they want to be?
@Kriskris sarcasm?
no
> If someone wanted to be transgender, why would they tell people they are biologically not the gender they want to be?
@Kriskris im not entirely sure i understand what you're trying to say
What, no im saying why would they flaunt that they are transgender. That just means they arent the sex they would like to identify as. If they want to identify as that sex, why not just call yourself that gender all the time and make your identity around the gender. I've met some transgender people that I didnt know were transgender for years, because they wanted to identigy as the other gender fully.
Yet other trans people will let you know they're trans in the first sentence they say to you
