also, we can see waaay too far over the 'curve' given their measurements

In the FECORE there is a bulge missing that should be 90 meter high

for example, a lighthouse that should be 5400 ft behind the curve, can be seen with a telescope

In the John D the bulge that is missing should be about 10 meter high obscuring the direct sight to the light source
